Mike and Ryan here again, unfortunatly Josiah is up to his armpits with sermon preperation so he will not be joining us this evening. But don't worry you will hear from him soon.
This week we have been working on a number of different projects around Martin Luther Church. Our first project was repainting and repairing the Church board room, this included washing down the scummy walls, patching holes and giving it a fresh coat of precious purple paint. It wouldn't have been our first choice but the store didn't give us many options. It was either poop brown or purple, we picked purple. It actually turned out pretty good. (Check out photos) We also restored the very old exterior lighting of the Church. These lamps were very decorative and old and looked sharp with a new coat of paint.
Our final project was installing a sound system in the fellowship hall.
We really enjoyed our week at the Church, got a lot done and the congregation really apreciated our work.
Our hosts here have been fantastic, welcoming and it makes our time here so much better.
On sunday we head in land toward the Amazon for some adventure and work.
